My whole of the family consists of the eight members
planned for visiting Islamabad from Karachi in summer vacations for spending a
few days in the better environment as compared to the Karachi so we came
Islamabad through the Cheap Flights to Islamabad. The nice journey towards the Islamabad and we went to our aunt's
house while many of our other relatives are there in Islamabad. So our cousins
and all of us enjoyed a lot while one of our cousins told that we should to go
towards the Kalar Kahar Lake.
So our uncle told that Keller Khar is the
subdivision of the Chakwal District and about 130 Km far from the Islamabad.
While the ancient name of the Kalar Kahar is the “Shah Kahar”that has the
speciality that it is it is placed in the Hindu temples as here the famous
temples of Katas and Molat are located
in Kalar Kahar and famous Muslim architects. The beauty of lake amazed us very
much while the “Throne of Babar” became on the top of the rock on which the King Babar addressed his army about the war.
While near of the “Throne of Babar” there is Bagh-e-Safa that was bursting with
the flowers and the peacocks. During the journey towards the war, King Babar
stayed here for some period of time with his troops while he liked this place a
lot and remarked it as the “charming place with good air”.
Kallar Kahar is also famous due to the land of
temples as famous temples like Katas Temple that preserves the history of the 900
years ago. While within the Katas temple, there is the series of seven temples
that are located adjacent and the tomb has pond around which the temples are
located that is known as the “Staghara” , while Katas temple is considered as
the second holiest place for Hindus Jawala Mukhi temple in Punjab.
